I help ambitious ballet lovers overcome the knowledge gaps and frustrations of ballet.
Nobody wants to feel stuck. I get it. Generic classes, with mixed abilities and lack of time to truly breakdown steps can leave you with rocky technique (and a lack of confidence.)
In a 90 minute group ballet class, how often do you get personal feedback?
I love building close connections with 1:1 clients, where we tailor plans to encompass all your ballet goals (from stamina to getting your splits!) In 90 minutes with me, every single second is focused on you- ensuring every movement you make is efficient, accurate, and working towards your goals.
Bottom line: save time, prevent injury, and feel more fulfilled by seeing yourself progressing at a much faster rate!
Curious what I do?
Here’s what my clients say...
Every week with Rosy is a chance to grow!
Working with Rosy has been an amazing opportunity for me that has helped me develop so much as a dancer. She has a positive, can-do attitude, and her support has helped me to become more focused, disciplined, and effective. Her attention to detail in every aspect, from determining goals, to creating an action plan to make those goals achievable, makes her stand out as a ballet instructor.
I am the strongest I have ever been
I first contacted Rosy 9 months after giving birth to my second baby and 4 months after getting back to ballet. I didn’t have much of a ballet foundation as I had only taken 6 weeks of classes before getting pregnant and a couple of months during my second trimester. My biggest frustration was my inability to do anything on center. I couldn’t balance, not even on pliés and tendus (no exaggeration, she witnessed that on our first session). My dream was to balance on passé. After a few months working with Rosy I got the dream and so much more! My body has never been this strong before, I know what proper alignment feels like and that is helping me so much with turns, something I considered too advanced for me as I could barely balance a few months ago.
What I love the most about Rosy is her ability to read through you, figure out what you are not getting yet and guide you through exercises that will make you learn which muscles to work, what feels right and what to look for. The whole process is so smooth that you don’t even realize what is happening until you are consistently doing things right. I remember turning my first 4 controlled pirouettes without even realizing that I was turning. I was focused and having fun instead of feeling stressed as I used to feel before doing pirouettes in class. I would definitely recommend Rosy to anyone willing to improve their ballet technique!
It was worth every penny!
Rosy is amazing! Before working with her, I was not progressing, my technique was suffering and I could not get through a class without taking pain medication for my back. My arabesque which used to be above 90 degrees was now no higher than 25 degrees and caused excruciating pain.
Thanks to Rosy, my pain is significantly reduced, and I’ve felt strength and flexibility improving.
She has a vast knowledge of dance and dance based exercises, combined in a unique program to suit your needs.
Plus, for the first time in my life, I have done fouetté turns!
If you’re interested in 1:1, trust me, it will be the best investment you ever make.
Group workshop members
I thoroughly enjoyed both the workshops I did, despite being an absolute beginner. Thank you!
I have enjoyed it so much, and it’s great that it’s so inclusive. Thank you for another lovely afternoon!
Can’t wait for the next one! So much fun, and I loved this choreography.
The best thing I’ve tried
Since starting, I’ve noticed huge improvements in balance, alignment and my coordination in my dancing. My strength is better, and my turns have gone from shaky singles to working on doubles! I’ve also moved up two class levels in 8 weeks.
An amazing instructor, with great, targeted & personal advice that works better than anything else I’ve tried.
I love her & her help so much!
Thank you <3
Rosy has really helped gain control of my ballet body in ways I never thought possible.
By working on my positions, particularly á la seconde, and thinking about my pesky supporting leg, I have improved my technique in class.
She breaks things down in an easy to follow way, and tells me why they are important for my technique.
I often send her videos of me working through certain exercises and she always gets back to me with feedback- normally the same day, even with the time difference!
Rosy is the eagle eye I needed
Rosy has been a lifesaver for my relationship with ballet, especially pointe work. There are also no dedicated pointe classes for adults so I questioned if I should even try to continue pointe as I continued to struggle to control my flexibility and hyperextension. It's been a gamechanger working tiny adjustments to stabilize my flexible ankles and correctly use all the strength I do have in my body. I'm now equipped with knowledge that I can focus on during my regular classes. The extremely personalized feedback has been invaluable.
